Guatemala’s microclimate and fertile, volcanic soils on the Pacific coast allow us to produce some of the highest yields of top-quality bananas in the world while maintaining our quality standards and low cost. We are one of the lowest cost producers of Premium Bananas and tropical fruit.

One of the advantages of buying tropical fruit from Guatemala is its proximity to the USA. We have fast and easy access to shipping ports on both the east and west coasts of the country. We can deliver to Houston in 5 days, to Miami in an average of 9 days, and to Los Angeles in approximately 10 days. This helps us to provide our customers with the freshest fruit from the tropics.

This geographical proximity also has the advantage over other producers since we use one ship less than our competitors, and therefore, we have a lower carbon footprint.

Another competitive advantage is that, on average, we are able to produce some of the largest and densest bananas in the industry thus, in turn, enhancing our customers’ sales. We have a flat-structured organization that allows us to make decisions proactively to meet the customized needs of each of our clients.
