BANANA DRINKS

ORANGE AND BANANA SMOOTHIE


Ingredients:


1 cup of orange juice
1 banana
1 cup of fruit: fresh or frozen

Directions:


  • Peel the banana, put in an airtight freezer bag, and freeze until hard.
  • Pour the orange juice into a blender and add the frozen banana.
  • Add any frozen fruit of your choice and blend until smooth.
  • Serve immediately or chilled.


  • NON-ALCOHOLIC BANANA PUNCH


    Ingredients:


    6 bananas
    6 cups of water
    4 cups of sugar
    46 oz. of pineapple juice
    4 liters of ginger ale
    1 cup of orange juice
    1 cup of lemonade


    Directions:


  • Boil the water and the sugar together for about three minutes, then set it aside to cool.
  • Place two bananas at a time in the blender with about a cup of pineapple juice and process until smooth. Continue until all the bananas have been processed to a smooth consistency together with all of the pineapple juice.
  • Dilute the orange juice and lemonade concentrates according to the directions on the cans. Add the reconstituted juices to the banana/pineapple mixture in a large pitcher. Next, add the sugar syrup that has cooled to the fruit mixture and stir well.
  • Place the pitcher (or other container) with the fruit punch in the freezer for about 60 minutes or until the mixture has become slushy.
  • Remove the slushy mixture from the freezer and combine it together with anequal portion of ginger ale in frozen glasses to serve.


  • BANANA MILKSHAKE


    Ingredients:


    6 cups of milk
    6 ripe bananas
    1 teaspoon of Vanilla extract ground nutmeg to taste.

    Directions:


  • Blend ripe bananas in a blender
  • Add the milk and vanilla to the blender
  • To serve, lightly dust the top of the milkshake with nutmeg, to taste.


  • BANANA DAIQUIRI


    Ingredients:


    1 1/2 oz light rum
    1 tbsp triple sec
    1 banana
    1 1/2 oz lime juice
    1 tsp sugar
    maraschino cherries(optional garnish)

    Directions:


  • Combine all the ingredients (except for the cherry) with 1 cup crushed ice in an electric blender. Blend at a low speed for five seconds, and then blend at high speed for a few seconds more.
  • Garnish each drink with a cherry.


  • BAILEY`S BANANA COLADA


    Ingredients:


    Bailey's Irish Cream
    1 banana
    banana liqueur
    dark rum
    bottled pina colada mix

    Directions:

  • Put banana and banana liqueur into a blender and porcess until becomes a thick paste.
  • Add 1/2 oz of Bailey's Irish Cream, 1/2 oz piƱa colada mix, 1/2 oz and rum to taste.
  • Blend well, add ice, and blend again until smooth.
  • Serve in a cold pina-colada glass.


  • BANANA BREEZE


    Ingredients:


    1/2 oz of apricot brandy
    1/2 oz of banana liqueur
    1/2 oz of coconut rum
    1 oz of dark rum
    1/2 oz of Grenadine
    1/2 oz of honey
    1 oz of lemon juice
    1 oz of orange juice
    1 oz of pineapple juice

    Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender with 3-4 ice cubes.
  • Pour the mixture over additional ice cubes in a tall glass.
  • Garnish with an orage wedge and a cherry and serve.
